Anyone breaking these rules will be asked to leave the fishery. The staff are here to help and advise and make your stay a pleasant one. If you have any questions please ask. All anglers should be in possession of a valid EA license.

Please dip and rinse your unhooking equipment before setting up.
Three rods only per person (marker rods must be reeled in once area has been selected). Never leave rods unattended.
42 inch Soft Landing Net (minimum size).
'Proper' Carp Cradle for retaining fish i.e. one of a good size and well padded. By cradle we mean one which stands off the ground with legs or a cradle shaped mat with padded and raised sides.
Container of water nearby for wetting fish.
Strictly NO Carp Sacks or Retaining Sacks (you need all the equipment ready for weighing and photography before releasing fish).
Please break down landing net when carrying fish to cradle and use carp care products where necessary.
Any sick/ill fish, please keep in landing net (in water) and advise us so we can check fish before release.
No casting across to other swims even when vacant. On split you can cast to edge of lilies.
BBQ's are allowed (placed above ground) but please keep noise levels low.
No thin wire or bent hooks. Wide gape, straight shank only. Barbless only. No barbed hooks with nipped down barbs.
No leadcore.
No Leaders in any shape or form.
Leads must drop off easily.
No braided main lines.
Minimum line strength is 10lb (can be less for roach fishing etc), maximum is 15lb (not double strength types).
No pre baiting or excessive feeding.
No trout pellets, peanuts, tiger nuts or goo.
No leaving rods unattended. If you need to socialise reel your rods in.
No cutting back of vegetation without permission.
No litter. Please use bins provided. Bin bags are available from the fishery shop. Please cut and discard used line in bins.
No pressurised or bright lamps.
No boats or bait boats.
No fires.
No bivvy mallets.
No excess alcohol.
No drugs.
No swimming.
Anyone trying to remove fish from these waters will be prosecuted we operate 24 hour surveillance.
No transferring fish between lakes.
Strictly NO Laser Pens.
No dogs.
Please record all fish caught either in catch book in tackle shop or by sending us your catch details/ photos by email. We would appreciate your support with this, as we need regular updates to check growth rates and health.
The renewal of your membership is not automatic and depends entirely on your behaviour and respect for the rules. As usual you will receive a reminder in the post two weeks before the due date. If this is not paid in full before or on the renewal date we will assume that you don't wish to rejoin and will move to the next person on the waiting list.
